 My Parents

As of August of this year my father will be retired. Congratulations Dad, you deserve it. Both you and Mom have always been supportive, loving, and nurturing parents. You sacrificed for us and took care of us. As children we don't realize that you have lives, problems, hurts, wants, and needs outside of our adolescent narcissism. Therefore on a day that you might not feel well we might throw a tantrum about wanting two treats, not just one. Well I do realize and I want you to know that I love You. We all do. I don't tell you as much as I should.

When I come home my mind is filled with happiness and good memories. All of us kids are lucky to call you Mom and Dad.

Mom - Make sure Buddy and Bella read this too.
Dad - There is no need for a second source.

With Love and Respect,

Your 1st Son

Sometimes you call me Maury.

Henry Hill--How is this guy still alive?

Henry "Goodfellas" Hill was on Stern the other day and I was amazed this guy still walks the earth. Not because of some wiseguy contract but because he has abused his body for years. He's 66 and still drinks to the point of black out, still hits shit, and still smokes like a chimney. Amazing. Oh Henry boy, the pipes, the pipes they are a calling.

Republic candidates for president--a study of the devolved.

One of these guys could be running the country in 2008. If bush doesn't completely destroy it. Fuckin scary.

Well here are a few "facts" as they say on Fox news.

John McCain-- Sacrificed all crediblity when he lay down like a dog for Rove/Bush and the party after they so unscrupulously attacked him and his family in the primaries. Shorts his friends on weed.

Rudy G.-- Mayor of New York during the first bombing of the WTC. Still thought it a good place to keep his command center. Cross-dresser. Mob hit man for the Columbos in the early seventies.

Mitt Romney-- Flip flopping five month life-time NRA member, belongs to one of the more ridiculous cults, Mormonism. Named all of his sons after Porter Rockwell and personally fired the first shot at Mountain Meadows.

Mike Huckabee-- Doesn't believe evolution. A lot of extra skin. Forces anal sex on his wife once a year...on presidents day.

Sam Brownback-- Another guy who has a problem with science, unless it helps to kill people. Is from Kansas. Swings under the alias Jimmy Hardd.

Tom Tancredo-- Racist. Creationist. Owns four to six sweatshops making Geranimals for Canadian markets.

Tommy Thompson-- Once tipped me one dollar on a 40 dollar bar bill. Sexually harassed the town of Lodi. Saves his spit in a jar.

Ron Paul-- Spoke some truth, so he's not a threat.

Duncan Who?-- Well he's on the stage so he must be a scumbag.

I think there are more but they are all melding into one fear mongering, hate filled, xenophobic, rich, white douchebag zealot. Except for Paul which is why he has no chance. God and baby Jesus help us.

How some crushed grapes saved me from sobriety.

I love cheap wine. More spefically, I love Riunite on ice. Tastes so nice. Back in my younger days I was a whiskey on the rocks man. You can only do that so long before your nose gets bulbus and your liver makes you look fat. I never really liked beer, but it's not as bad for your system as whiskey on the rocks. What was I gonna do? No one likes to be sober all the time. Just ask the FDA and the pharmaceutical companies. I was at my wits end. This cheap, red, beauty called Lambrusco has saved me from being a teetotaler. I don't get "drunk" when I consume this particular libation. I maintain a constant "buzz", like they do in Spain. You know, the point where you want the music louder, laughter comes easier, and you can still have what you think is great sex. You can still speak, play guitar, and hit the toilet. Your moral compass is lowered, but not to the point where you order two hookers and an eight-ball. Ah... good times.
