BUSH AND BIGFOOT: MORON AND MYTH

I was browsing pictures of the evil chimp when I came across the first image. As soon as I saw it I was reminded of another famous, simian creature.....

...DUM.....DUM......DUUUUMMM!! SCUMSQUATCH!

Two frauds wearing suits, trying to look genuine.

Unfortunately, the first thing exists.

Contrasting and comparing,

Christianity and It's Elaborate Pagantry Pt. 2

On Sunday, I rested.

Part 1 can be found in a previous post, under the same title.

Religion is a cancer that has eaten away at societies throughout the history of man. It's appetite for power, money, violence, oppression, and hatred is never-ending. It's great, destroying lie will consume all of us. Mankind and it's fear of what it cannot explain will make sure of that.
Maybe if people cared more about reality, they would be less inclined to believe in fantasy.

Something to think about. If you are allowed the luxury.

Sorry, jesus doesn't even like you.

 Our Fundamental Foreign Policy

John Stewart explains the balance of power in the Middle East and how we fuck it up.

We No likey learny from mistakey.

--------

Turkey just elected a new President, loyal to Islam. I've read that the Turkish Armed forces consider itself the defender of the secular constitution and has stepped in before, when religion has tried to influence Turkey's political realm. We shall see.

--------

This is a quick read from AlterNet:

Devout Muslim Wins Turkish Presidency, Seen As Major Victory For Islamic-Rooted Govt

A devout Muslim with a background in political Islam won the Turkish presidency on Tuesday, in a major triumph for the Islamic-rooted government after months of confrontation with the secular establishment.

Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul received a majority of 339 votes in a parliamentary ballot, Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan said. Ruling party legislators broke into applause.

-----

Here are other examples of the fundamentalization of the world, being helped along by our foreign policy.

Bin laden and Zawahiri alive and kicking, a world wide jump in Al Qaeda membership, IRAQ, Musharraf's government threatened by Islamic fundamentalists in Pakistan, the Saudi Royal family is as radical as ever, Karzai's fragile hold in Afghanistan, Hamas elected in Palestine, Hassan Nasrallah(Hezbollah) in Lebanon, Ahmadinejad in Iran, hard-liner Bibi Netanyahu in Israel gaining popularity and of course, W the evangelical Chimp in the US. That's alot of religious anger with a few nukes thrown in for good measure. Their gods must be proud.

Are we safer, sure we are. If safer means being more vulnerable.

"The citizen who thinks he sees that the commonwealth's political clothes are worn out, and yet holds his peace and does not agitate for a new suit, is disloyal; he is a traitor."
