Blaast, I've missed you. This post is as relevant as it was in April, if not more so. I hope America can look at itself and see the racism that has "colored" the socio-political landscape since the country's conception. Hopefully "white America" is not as inbred and isolated as is Appalachia. I grew up in Indiana and I know the mind set of these bible thumpers who think they represent the best qualities of America. They could not be more misguided. These rednecks may live in the "heartland" but they do not represent the highest ideals of the Republic, nor, I hope, the reality of the average white voter. We have a great opportunity to step up to the plate and deliver a real death blow to the ignorance and intolerance of the past. Maybe America can at last become the America envisioned by our founding fathers. Cheers.

Toadie -- Yo brutha! Glad to see you still stop by Blogstream. To paraphrase...I think...Chris Rock; No one ever heard of a superdelegate until it looked like a black man could win.
Many Blogstream members are there
already! Quotes from members: "It's like blog lite!" -- "I like the instant

If you have not joined in, you are really missing out!
